Same-Day Helmet Services

WHAT ARE SAME-DAY SERVICES?

Same-day helmet services are small-scale services that can be performed on your fire helmet while you're here at the shop. Some services may require extra time to complete, so you will be notified if your helmet will be in our hands for longer than a full business day. Same-day services include: 

• Brass finial/crown Installation
• Helmet Bends
• Bourke Installation
• Adjustable Suspension Installation (deep suspension)
• Tetrahedron Placement
• Ratchet Clip Repair
• Ratchet Installation
• D-ring Installation
• Chinstrap Clips Installation
• Front Studs Installation

 

HOW DOES IT WORK?

If you're looking to have same-day services performed on your helmet, you must call the shop to both schedule a time to bring your helmet down and to confirm a helmet technician will be available to perform the work you're requesting. It's important to call us prior to coming up to the shop in the event that we're closed due to unexpected circumstances or during holiday hours, or if a technician is absent. CAN I PAY FOR THIS IN ADVANCE?

Typically, we'll ring you out for same-day services after the work has been completed for a variety of reasons. This is done to ensure the techs can review the services you're requesting with you, as well as to confirm the service(s) are able to be performed on your fire helmet initially.

 

IF I WANT OTHER SERVICES, CAN I REQUEST THEM?

Yes, while you're here at the shop with your helmet, you can tack on any other items you're looking to have done in addition to your same-day services. If a particular service does not fall within the criteria for same-day servicing, i.e; an item needs to be ordered or is part of helmet restoration, our helmet technicians will notify you so our staff can follow the proper steps to in-taking your fire helmet for any further work being requested.
